It stole a precious member of my family - a brave soul who fought alcohol addiction till their last breath. According to the National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH), 19.7 million American adults battled a substance use disorder in 2017 alone. Given the magnitude of this issue, it is our collective responsibility to foster supportive and drug-free environments.
