Being in my 20s doesn't change my love for Dutch Wonderland, a place that holds so many cherished memories of my childhood. Three years ago, there was an adults-only night at the park, and I was thrilled at the prospect of reliving those magical experiences without the hustle and bustle of family weekends. However, I was unable to attend because I don't have a driver’s license or a car, and my family couldn't accompany me on such short notice. I was deeply disappointed to miss what could have been a night filled with joy and nostalgia.

Dutch Wonderland is a haven for families throughout the Lancaster, PA area, but there’s an untapped opportunity to share its enchanting charm with adults who are eager to reminisce and enjoy the park’s offerings in a unique atmosphere. Having grown up going there, this resonates hard now that I am in my 20s. Imagine each Friday night during the operating season, Dutch Wonderland opens solely for adults, welcoming them with open arms to experience the wonder of Merlin, the elegance of Princess Brooke, the playful roars of Duke The Dragon, and the exhilaration of all the rides available to us grown-ups.

This initiative would not only provide adults a chance to create new memories surrounded by the places and characters they adored growing up, but it would also offer a fresh revenue stream for Dutch Wonderland. By harnessing the universal appeal of nostalgia, the park can attract a diverse audience looking for a different kind of night out.

It's time to bring back and make a tradition of adults-only nights at Dutch Wonderland, infusing our Fridays with the magic and excitement that only childhood dreams can provide. Let's come together to appeal to Dutch Wonderland for this enchanting change.
