A local Whole Foods Market wouldn't merely be a beacon for the highest quality healthy foods, it would greatly reduce the carbon footprint, considering the countless miles commuters from our area are traveling every week to reach their stores in Asheville or Knoxville. Whole Foods expansion into Johnson City would not only sate the residents' demand for quality organic goods but would also show a commitment to reducing environmental footprint and support for sustainable agriculture.
