We, the undersigned Pakistani citizens and well-wishers, respectfully request the Government of Malta and VFS Global to establish a Malta Visa Application Center (VFS) in Pakistan. 

🔹 Why is this important? 

Currently, Malta has no embassy or VFS center in Pakistan. As a result, thousands of genuine Pakistani applicants—students, workers, and professionals—are forced to travel abroad (UAE, Turkey, or Nepal) just to apply for a Malta visa. This is not only a financial burden but also a mental strain for many families. The associated travel and accommodation expenses heavily impact applicants, many of whom already work hard to save for their dreams of studying or working in Malta. 

🔹 The Economic and Social Impact 

Beyond the personal inconvenience, this lack of access also affects Malta's potential to benefit from skilled workers and students. According to the World Bank, Pakistan is among the top sources of highly skilled professionals and students seeking international opportunities. By streamlining the visa application process in Pakistan, Malta can attract a significant number of bright minds and strong work ethics to contribute positively to its economy. 

🔹 A Call for Change 

A Malta VFS center in Pakistan would be a win-win situation. It would facilitate more streamlined visa processing for applicants while opening doors for Malta to welcome more diverse talents. As global citizens, equitable access to international opportunities is a right that should be afforded to all, regardless of their geographical location. By establishing a VFS center, Malta and VFS Global can take a step towards inclusivity and global cooperation. 

📢 We urge the Maltese Government, Ministry for Foreign and European Affairs, and VFS Global to open a Malta VFS Visa Center in Pakistan at the earliest. We believe that Malta will greatly benefit by making it easier for Pakistanis to apply legally, instead of facing unnecessary barriers. Simplifying the visa process is not just an operational change; it is a commitment to international collaboration and mutual growth.
