Establish a Cornish Assembly for the people of Cornwall!

Establish a Cornish Assembly for the people of Cornwall!
The Issue
Cornwall should have a national assembly just as Scotland and Wales do. Especially after the massive budget cut from Westminster we need it more than ever, Cornish money should be given to a Cornish Assembly, where it is distributed back into Cornwall for language development, infrastructure and schooling, social funds and kickstarting a Cornish economy that no longer would be dependent on English tourists coming down each and every summer.
We have long had our own language, culture, history, and identity separate from those in England, our brothers and sisters in Wales and Scotland are campaigning and fighting for the exact same thing - Fair and well deserved representation for their peoples, and from what I see the Government's current representation of Cornwall is disgusting.
We the people deserve the right to have our voices heard in the country that occupies our land, to have our money go to places that will benefit our land and the ability to hold an Assembly if that is what the people decide.
The rest of our Celtic brethren are progressing towards self-rule, when will we do the same?
Ireland: Declared Independence - 1919
Scotland: National Assembly - 1999
Wales: National Assembly - 1999
Cornwall: National Assembly - ?
We have an amazing opportunity to do something great, to progress further and to gain the recognition that Cornwall has been starved of for hundreds of years, but through all that our language still lives and our people still breathe, we know who we are and what has been before us, it's time to place the foundations of a future for this beloved country.
