Came across this postcard of Boxted Bridge the other day.  I had never seen this particular view with a splendid haystack before, it must have been taken a few years after the bridge was built in 1897, and, apart from the absence of the Mill building in the background demolished in 1929, the setting remains virtually unaltered.
