885 days of bridge closure with no supporting evidence that the bridge is unsafe for pedestrians and cyclists or any justification for the closure of the Navigation is totally unacceptable. 

Ringway Jacobs A8 -Immediate Risk Structure: Emergency Action Record of Agreement /Incident Log document dated 28.06.2023 (viewable on the Boxted Bridge Essex Highways webpage) records:

Emergency Action(include timescale for undertaking action) "A structural assessment based on the recent findings of the PI should be undertaken urgently in order to better understand the risks to the public"....

"Emergency Action"? The basic load test of the bridge took Ringway Jacobs 2.3 years to carry out on Sep 10 2025 under pressure. Weeks later we still await Ringway Jacobs 'verification' of the Accolade load test report.

Essex County Council have yet again failed to take active, reasonable, and proportionate steps to  "seek to further the statutory purposes of the Dedham Vale National Landscape."
