‘Having spoken with all my drivers tonight of which I am one of them, I can confirm that we have been over the bridge a number of times including on blue lights and we have not experienced difficulties manoeuvring at the junction of Boxted bridge and Sky Hall road.’

Replacing the bridge for one on a much  wider footprint for fire engines to safely manoeuvre at the junction is one of highways justifications for building a new bridge.
