Wolf is a beautiful 6 year old Huskey. After the Erie County SPCA was alerted to his living situation, chained outside 24/7, they secured a owner surrender. In the weeks since then Little One's independent rescue has tried endlessly to reach out to the SPCA to come and visit wolf. Two our of prominent members worked extensively with Bentley ( a dog removed from a dog fighting ring locally) and were interested in working on socialization with Wolf. They have not returned our calls. We have heard that Wolf is scheduled for euthanization on Monday 3/16/15. SPCA claims some aggression. Who would have some anxiety related aggression after being neglected and a used on a chain their whole life? Still unable to speak with anyone at the SPCA via phone, memebers of Little One's went to the SPCA today to speak with them and see Wolf. They refused to let any outside behaviorlist assess Wolf or anyone see him. We as a group will secure bootcamp or a sanctuary for him. He deserves it. SPCA who claims to be "No Kill" won't give this boy a chance!!! They won't let us help him at all!
