At yesterday’s big announcement at the base of Angels Flight, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti said, loud and clear, “I heard you!” Thanks to a deal brokered between the city, the funicular’s non-profit foundation, LA Metro and new operating partners, Angels Flight Railway will be restored and return to service by Labor Day (9/4/2017).
