Dear Angels Flight Friends and Neighbors,
Thank you for your continued support of Angels Flight Railway.
We're so pleased to announce the May 29 return of our free Los Angeles history lecture series, the LAVA Sunday Salon and the Salon's new home, historic Grand Central Market (basement level).
The first speaker is architectural historian Nathan Marsak, with an illustrated talk on lost Bunker Hill and that most delightful survivor: Angels Flight Railway, featuring many of the funicular's cinematic cameos. Immediately following the talk, Nathan joins Richard for a Broadway on My Mind series walking tour of notable sites along Hill Street, including Angels Flight. Both of these events are free, but individual reservations are required. Visit the links below for more info, or to reserve your spot.

What's next for Angels Flight? The non-profit board continues its fundraising to cover ongoing insurance and upkeep costs, and is working with engineers on a design for a track-side walkway as required by the state regulators. We'll let you know when there's more news to share.
Viva Angels Flight!
