This petition is to gain support from the Los Angeles City Council to acknowledge the historical attributes made by Chicanos-Mexican Americans by designating Chicano-Mexican American History Month from August 17th thru September 17. Our vibrant and rich history is embedded throughout the City of LA. It is a critical part of history in the birth of Los Angeles and California. Angelenos from all backgrounds can celebrate the hard work of our beloved Chicano-Mexican Americans. Please sign the petition.
