Please join me at Beer for Bears.  This event is inspired by Russell the bear cub who captured our hearts with his plight in 2017...an injured cub wandering in a farmer's field....which led to so many amazing people joining together to fight to get him help....which led to our fight to urge the Government of Alberta to allow the rehabilitation and release of Black Bear Cubs, and many other species who are still currently banned.  (We have successfully removed Black Bears, Fox and Elk from the banned list.....still more to fight for...but it is a positive start!) 

Through this process, I have had the privilege of getting to know The Cochrane Ecological Institute.  They have been saving Alberta Wildlife since 1967 when they received their first permit to accept injured and orphaned Wildlife.  They have been assisting and saving Alberta Wildlife without assistance from the Government, and without using tax payer's dollars.  I would love nothing more than to support this wonderful charity while providing a fun evening where like minded people can connect and make a difference.  Please see the link for how you can purchase your ticket.  If you are not local and you are still interested in participating (70% of the proceeds of this ticket go directly to CEI)  I would be more than happy to mail you 2 special edition pint glasses at no charge for shipping.  E-mail me at gannob3@hotmail.com and let me know if you purchased a ticket and I will make sure you receive the glasses.
