Did you know the U.S. Constitution does NOT explicitly protect women's rights?

Right now, millions of American women and girls are at risk because the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) isn’t fully recognized in our Constitution. Without a clear, explicit guarantee of gender equality at the federal level, women’s rights are vulnerable to changing political climates. The 14th Amendment doesn’t provide this level of protection; only the ERA can establish a federal standard that prohibits gender discrimination, protecting us all from shifting agendas and ensuring rights that cannot be easily undone.

**The need to secure women’s rights has never been more urgent. This is why we need YOU to join our coalition! If we don’t act now, decades of progress on gender equality could be at risk. The ERA has met the 38-state threshold for ratification, but outdated deadlines prevent it from being fully recognized. Our immediate approach involves focusing on a resolution to remove the deadline that has already been introduced in Congress (H.J. Res 25). We believe that, with enough public pressure and attention, we can push Congress to vote on it before the current session expires in December. Combining this with continued pressure on the White House, we hope to raise our voices LOUD AND CLEAR - women belong in the Constitution.
