We know a lot of you have felt frustrated over the past 2 years, wondering what we’re doing, asking what’s happening, and calling for… well, in our own words, Less Conversation, More Conservation.

Those of you who read the recent piece in The Guardian will know; we have been BUSY.

Thank you for your patience.

We had to wait until the time was right, but we can now share with you all that a second draft license application to reintroduce lynx to the UK was submitted to Natural England 2 YEARS AGO.

With no review.

Behind the scenes we’ve been busy all along. At the same time, both Natural England and DEFRA have also been busy- avoiding the issue at every opportunity!

Following the recent article, in which Tony Juniper Chair of Natural England shared his "enthusiasm" about reintroducing lynx, we now expect this to be moved through quickly. Or we will take legal action.

We get it, we’re not like other conservation organisations- we’re doers, we challenge the system and we’re relentless in our pursuit. And that’s why we are not giving up until the process that we started results in the lynx being back in the UK.

The stand-off between DEFRA and Natural England has now been exposed. And you know we’re not going to let up on pursuing this.

We’re just getting started!!
