Recent rumors seem to suggest that Sony Pictures wants Spider-Man 4 to have Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield back again which is in opposition to other rumors that said the story would be an adaptation of Devil's Reign.

While it was exciting to see familiar faces of other Spider-people like Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield in No Way Home, their presence should not overshadow or detract from Holland's solo journey before Secret Wars in Spider-Man 4.

The Devil's Reign story arc is a personal favorite and its potential adaptation deserves undivided attention. It would be best served by focusing solely on Tom Holland's character without any interference from other versions of Spider-Man.

Therefore, we urge Sony Pictures Entertainment and Marvel Studios to ensure that Tom Holland’s fourth outing as Spider-Man remains grounded without other Spider-people. Let us continue exploring this unique version of Peter Parker’s life uninterrupted by multiverse crossovers until the big Secret Wars event.
