We are being contacted by a number of nurses /midwives / student nurses who's professional lives have changed dramatically during the COVID-19 crisis.

All, without exception, are keen to remain at work and "do our bit" but are understandably anxious. Many are being asked to work in units they have never worked in before, are being given little or no re-training to adapt to the new clinical area causing them to be very scared about their clinical safety and confidence.

The Royal College of Nursing have undertaken some research which confirms this issue

We are concerned that referrals to the NMC will increase post COVID-19
