The Hangar in South Lake Tahoe is  a place where people can come together, put down their phones, and enjoy the magic of live music under the trees. It’s more than just a venue; it’s a place that fosters human connection and celebrates the live music. 

Unfortunately, this year we face some challenges that threaten our ability to host live music. Some folks in the community don't feel the same way about live music that we do.  This isn’t just an issue for music lovers; it affects the entire community by potentially stripping away a central part of our identity and the magic of our space. Mind you, this push back is all while being in compliance with all aspects of our permit; volumes and time restrictions. 

Keeping live music alive at The Hangar is not just about preserving a business; it’s about maintaining the heartbeat of South Lake Tahoe's community spirit. We're urging local authorities and community leaders to work with us to reassess our program and its true impact on community to help sustain The Hangar's summer concert series.
