Víctor Nava was just 19 years old, full of dreams and potential, when his life was brutally cut short by heartless individuals. These monsters, known as Casper Salcido & Ruben Montelongo, believed they had the right to take Víctor's life, leaving a gaping hole in his family and community's hearts. Víctor won't get to experience the simple joys of waking up to the warmth of his bed or sharing a meal with his loved ones - experiences his murderers continues to enjoy every day without remorse.

Casper & Ruben showed no regrets for their actions. Knowing this, the injustice becomes unbearable to those who loved Víctor. Allowing these people to live comfortably in their home, with privileges like a comfy bed and warm food, is a travesty of justice. Víctor's family will never hear his laughter at the breakfast table or see him grow into the wonderful man he could have been.

We implore the judicial system to take action and ensure that these monsters are held accountable for their unforgivable actions. By condemning them to life imprisonment, we send a clear message: there are severe consequences for taking a life. The absence of remorse should not be a free pass to freedom.

The Decatur Police must act decisively to protect the community and prevent such tragedies from repeating. The fear and anger felt by Víctor’s family is shared by all who knew and loved him. His passing must not be in vain.

Standing together, we can demand justice for Víctor. His murderers should not be free to enjoy the liberties Víctor was so cruelly robbed of. Justice means ensuring that Casper and Ruben see no more daylight as free men. It is our duty to make sure the punishment fits the crime - life imprisonment for life taken.

By signing this petition, you stand with Víctor's family and friends, advocating for justice that has been long overdue. Help us ensure that Víctor’s tragic end leads to a meaningful change. Justice for Víctor is justice for all. Sign the petition to make this happen.
