The school has acknowledged that the correct process was not applied in this matter. They have assured me that this was an oversight rather than a deliberate act, and that the established procedures have been consistently followed in other cases. Following their review, they have confirmed that a fair and consistent approach will be applied moving forward.

I welcome this acknowledgement. It has not been easy to have my voice heard, and the measures we have had to take should not be necessary. Still, this recognition is an important step toward ensuring fairness for everyone.

I will continue to strive for fairness, and I believe strongly that parents and carers should have a meaningful voice in decisions that affect their children. I stand firmly by the view that schools and other professionals should listen to understand, rather than listen only to respond. When genuine listening happens, trust grows and outcomes improve.

If anyone ever needs advice or support, please reach out. No one should feel alone in navigating these processes, and I will always advocate for a system where every voice is valued.
