Our neighbour in Burnt Oak (who I just bumped into yesterday) has messaged me.

They need your help please.

They live inside the conservation area and would like to apply for planning permission again, for a 2-storey extension for their own family home, where they live together with their children and pets.

The house is nice, but in order to have the living space they would need for their growing family they would probably have to move out of London, to Borehamwood, and we don't want that to happen!

That's why I'm supporting this planning application, and I am asking for you planning geeks to add your comments.

Follow the link below or go to the Council's planning portal.  You might have to log in or create an account.

do a simple search for reference number,

25/4014/HSE

https://publicaccess.barnet.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?keyVal=T3JYPMJIJGB00&activeTab=summary

Then take a look at the architect's proposal and make a comment.

If you all don't do this, the Council official named in their webpage for this case will decide on their own which is what happened last time, and we don't want.  We want our elected officials in Barnet to be able to consider their mandate to bring change.

We all signed this petition because we want to ensure community involvement in Burnt Oak development.  If we can't help our neighbours with this small thing, how are we going to build the power in community for the big thing?
