Our demands have begun receiving attention from the press. And this won't be the only story about us out there. We have been in contact with multiple news outlets concerning our petition and letter of demands, the evidence of which shall soon come to fruition.
Miya's family held a press conference today with their newly-acquired attorney, in this press conference they:
- Announced plans for a foundation in Miya's name
- Revealed that Arden Villas has not reached out to the family or replied to their emails
- Expressed support for change in the way apartment complexes work, so that this can never happen again
- Mentioned our petition
The family also stated how people have been reaching out to them with their stories about how they feel unsafe and unheard within our apartment complex.
Thus, we reach out to you, the supporters of our petition. If you, or anyone you know, has lived in Arden Villas, Orion on Orpington, or any Preiss-owned property and experienced:
- Unsolicited apartment visits by the community's staff and maintenance
- Harassment by the community's staff and maintenance
- Reaching out to the community with concerns about safety and being ignored
- Or the lack of safety and security devices leading to insufficient evidence to back your claims and cases
WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU! Go online and share your stories under the hashtag #MakeArdenAnswer or email us at: arden.villas.residents@gmail.com
Let's make a storm together.
