Road Safety At Risk

Hello, I started this petition a year ago to demand safer roads for us all. You, along with lakhs of others, signed it and soon I was able to deliver it to the Prime Minister’s Office. The Government promised us a strong Road Safety law, but just a year down the line, the proposed Road Safety Bill stands significantly diluted. Powerful lobbies of road contractors, truckers, RTO agents and auto manufacturers have openly opposed it. My 3 year old daughter and husband were run over by a bus in front of my own eyes. I cannot sit back and see the Government turn back on its promise. A number of NGOs have launched the “Road Safety at Risk” campaign to urge the PM to look into this personally and order a review of the weakened Bill.
