Please sign this petition for English Cricket Team to cancel their cricket match with the pro-Taliban & Haqani misogynistic cricket team!

English Cricket Board’s (ECB) decision to proceed with their plans to have a match with the pro-Taliban’s cricket team on 26, February 2025, is a slap in the face of women’s rights; women’s rights in sports, and human rights, and they should reconsider their decision to cancel the match before completely losing their honorable reputation in the world of sports.Today the entire world is aware of the Taliban’s inhuman decisions for women —women are not allowed to go to school; women are not allowed to play sports; women are not allowed to speak; women are not allowed to show their faces inside their homes, and the many other bazaar misogynistic rulings that they have imposed on women since their takeover of the government. 

Even Mr Piers Morgan has been rightfully and bravely outraged—like millions of other people worldwide-- and has made the following statement on his X account for England to cancel and boycott the match:

“The @englandcricket men’s team must cancel their match against Afghanistan in the ICC Champions Trophy group stage on Feb 26. The Taliban’s disgusting and ever-worsening oppression of Afghanistan women, including banning them from all sport, is unconscionable.Time we took a stand” (@Piersmorgon X, January 2, 2025).

According to facts, members of the Taliban cricket team met with Taliban officials, including Sirajuddin Haqqani, the ruthless criminal leader of the Haqqani network, many times, which provoked many reactions. Sources say that stars like Rashid Khan, who is a Taliban supporter, should not remain silent in front of the criminal Taliban and, by appearing alongside Taliban officials, legitimise this ferocious and barbarian group.

Please sign this petition for ECB to cancel their cricket match with the Taliban’s cricket team in honor of the oat of sportsmanship, which is about inclusivity of all human beings regardless of their gender, ethnicity, race, place of origin, etc.
