Our mission is to persuade the Ministry of Creative Industries to actively involve the exceptional creative community we possess right here in Antigua and provide resources to develop a National Gallery of Antigua and Barbuda. This esteemed institution would serve not only as a beacon for preserving and sharing our rich, diverse cultural heritage, but it will also inspire future generations and foster a deeper sense of national unity. It is significant to note that around the globe, National Galleries have proven to be effective platforms for cultural expression, with exemplary models such as the National Gallery in London attracting more than 6 million visitors annually (source: London Tourism Board). Therefore, by investing in such an institution, we are also nurturing creativity, and potentially tourism and economic growth too.
