How does all the abuse trauma and medically mishandling of my son equal no fault on any coaches or organizations part? Looking past the blatant rule of fair play. But to invalidate a child’s abuse and trauma at the hands of trusted people, friends.

  • Screaming profanities at him
  • physically pushing him back for a more favored kid
  • coaches watching him be physically abused and bullied without stepping in
  • belittling him in front of other players
  • Mocking him as he takes medicine
  • Embarrassing yelling about his medical condition
  • Withholding a rescue inhaler when in clear need and asking for it
  • Organizations not holding coaches responsible
  • Organizations not reporting abuse
  • Board members not keeping conversations confidential
  • Coaches threatening belittle and yell profanities at me
  • Parents harassing threatening and screaming at me
  • My children blacklisted from playing hockey
  • Teammates physically assaulting him
  • Teammates bullying to the point of quitting
  • Teammates hiding his equipment from him
  • …….

No fault….. “But the good news is that change may be made. Maybe and it’s because of what happened to your son. What happened to your son was terrible some of the worst I have seen. I feel terrible that this happened to your child and that he isn’t playing. But he can make change so other kids won’t go through the same thing.”

I am happy that there MAYBE be change, I don’t see it it in any of these places. Just better at hiding it. He wants change for other kids and I want justice for mine. Where is the accountability for the ones that have hurt my child?
