This petition is a call for USA Hockey to take accountability personal experiences are what drive change. My family has been part of this organization for years, My sons both playing for multiple years my daughters patently waiting their turn. They were turned away because I as their parent spoke out against abuse and misconduct within this organization. My private conversations with board members spread to the whole organization.

This organization, nominated by who? Took $2000 away from more deserving organizations. More honest. They do not allow all families to play…. While we are “out of district” we fell under the legacy (grandfather) clause. It was told only one child was excepted out of district. That is a blatant lie. 

They strive to help children learn to love and have fun with hockey. If that includes being told you are worthless, not worth the time pushed aside for the “better” kids. Then yes that could be perceived as fun and a functional learning environment. 

Finally become better people. When children are allowed to physically assault another child with no discipline or allowed to bully a child to the point of quitting also with no punishment. Adults condoning this type of behavior, most of the time acting worse than their child or other children. This to me does not make good people just another generation of bullies and abusers.
