As a citizen who has personally experienced the sting of hateful and derogatory remarks, I am of the belief that the leaders of our country have an obligation to demonstrate respect and positivity towards all. There is no place for intolerance and disrespectful rhetoric in the United States. It is imperative that our Congress-people and Senators, who are supposed to work for "We The People," contribute to the cultivation of an environment of mutual respect and dignity. Racist and sexist comments, particularly those targeting Caucasian, straight male/female citizens, as well as all races and religions. It has been observed in various platforms such as podcasts, TV, and news. This demeaning rhetoric, aired publicly, not only hurts the individuals directly targeted but also assists in normalizing hate throughout the society. 

I am advocating for the implementation of strict penalties for Congress-people & Senators who openly use racist or sexist remarks. Such measures should include removal from committees and censuring, to send a clear message that hate speech will not be tolerated. It's important to note, according to Pew Research, Caucasians account for 60% of the U.S. population (Pew Research Center, 2020). Hence, offensive remarks against such a significant portion of the population is not something that can or should be brushed aside lightly.

Not only for Caucasian Citizens but for Any and All Races.
