UPDATE on Morris Bridge Petition Progress

Thank you all for signing & sharing our very necessary effort to implement safety standards along Morris Bridge Rd. Today I heard from Hillsborough County Commissioner Hagan's office and they are very aware of our push and are actively working on solutions as well. I was very pleased with the conversation and it sounds like while ideas are being discussed, we very much need to continue our grassroots efforts. As you can imagine, there are many local projects that get attention each year but the ones with a large, loud, and STRONG community support get the attention required to ultimately make a change! Please continue to SHARE this petition and I encourage you also make your voices heard: let the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners know how you feel (Ken Hagan is District 2- which is the stretch of Morris Bridge Rd at hand), make sure Hillsborough County Sheriff's office (District 1 is who you want to contact) is aware we are looking for their assistance & presence, share this effort with your local media outlets - and spread the word on your own social media! The more signatures, the better the results we will have to make Morris Bridge a safer roadway for our families! Thank you!!!!
