Although I live in the neighborhood, I have not been able to walk or bike on Winston Dr. for over four years. I’d like to take my children down to Lake Merced from Stonestown again. Imagine riding a bike with a child in the back in between an RV as big as a bus that’s popped out a part of its dining table protruding into the bicycle lane, and a bus passing you on the left side! Generators running all night into the morning!

For over four years, the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (MTA) has not enforced parking regulations on specific streets near Lake Merced, such as Buckingham Way, Winston Drive, and Vidal Drive. This has led to an increase in RV dwellers in the area, which negatively affects our neighborhood's livability and our right to quiet enjoyment of our homes.

We need your support to organize University Housing and Parkmerced tenants, many who aren’t benefiting from any rent controls paying 5% rent increases for the past three years to address this significant issue impacting our community.
