The past 5 years Living in the Regis Park area of Brentwood (now known as Brentwood gardens) is like living in a nightmare. My family can’t see a day of peace in our home anymore. 
We work only to come home to music that is so loud that it can be heard through our closed windows and doors. There are loud parties in the middle of the night and the cars blasting bass all day long. Parties starting up randomly throughout the week and weekend lasting all night into the morning. They can be heard from blocks away some have DJs outside. Often the police are called but there is no permeant solution. My family has lived here for over 50 years and never needed to go this far as to call the police on people this is getting out of hand. There are elderly people and people attending school who can’t have peace to study or live. I have spoken to a few other resident who also live under Suffolk county they have encountered the same issues. We want The Town of Islip to get involved in our area and enforce the noise ordinance. We would like an amendment allowing a fine to be given after the third time the police is called within a month. Also the noise ordinance should be sent out to every household in Spanish and English. If a DJ is needed then the host must be permitted by the town and notify people in the surrounding area one month before the party date. People everywhere deserve peace, for the safety of our health we need the Town of Islip to take action.
