The tireless traffic issues in Baguio City creates problems to daily life of residents and commuters specially students. This is because of overly extended commute times, suffer from stress due to extra time spent in traffic, higher gas prices, and wasted time. Loss of potential productivity and economic value comes from businesses on account of service delivery getting late. There is traffic very often specially on holiday's making it difficult for emergency services, workers and for students to attend to their respective appointments.

  If we do not overhaul modern congestion approaches, the same rate of vehicle traffic will be maintained which can make congested areas deal with  billions in additional economic costs. Residents can suffer more from poor living conditions where, on top of increased vehicle emissions, life would be less efficient overall.
