My personal story is one of sorrow and anger. Jeff McArthur of Sentinel Canine was entrusted with the care of one of my dogs, Duke. But instead of care, he "disappeared". He was inexplicably "lost." That poor dog had no one there to protect him, and guard his path home.

Two other dogs were returned to their owner in a state of extreme malnutrition, with one suffering from broken teeth, one stunted for life. Odin and Atlas had no voice and no one there to show them compassion and love

One of his own animals, a puppy, had a compound fracture that he bragged on video that he "put a splint" on him, and there is corroborating video evidence of this injured puppy hobbling around his littermates. 

This horrific story continued to get worse when we discovered the video of Jax. Jax was a beautiful 18 month old Belgian Malinois, whose care was entrusted by his owner to Jeff McArthur. Without mercy and encouraging the attack, Jax was brutally killed by one of Jeff McArthur’s APBTs while Jeff encouraged and praised the attacker. We all watched in horror as this tragedy unfolded and Jax  took his last breath and his lifeless body continued to be shaken like a rag doll by his attacker and encouraged by Jeff McArthur.

Jasra, a gorgeous and sweet souled Belgian Malinois, went to live with Jeff McArthur as her retirement home. To have lazy mornings, a farm to roam, and enjoy her senior years in peace. Her owner entrusted Jeff McArthur to provide her this wonderful life in her golden years. Jasra is also dead. The only explanation that the owner of this beautiful animal got was that there was a “tragic accident“ and Jasra did not “make it”. No explanation, no details. No return of her remains. We can only imagine that she suffered the same fate as Jax and likely Duke.

Jeff McArthur has a horrendous and callous disregard for animals and his actions are a  violation of the ANIMAL WELFARE ACT.

The animals in our society are voiceless, it is up to us to speak for them. It is in this spirit that I lobby for righteous action against this injustice.

Jeff McArthur's actions towards these helpless animals at Sentinel Canine in Alpine, AL is beyond shameful, it demonstrates a complete lack of empathy and respect for these innocent creatures. His approach towards animal care does not only affect my pets but several other animals under his care.

Animal abuse isn't just wrong; it is a crime under the Animal Welfare Act. Yet every day, animals suffer because instances of abuse and neglect often go unreported. In the United States, approximately 10 million animals are abused or neglected each year, according to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA). Why should we let Sentinel Canine contribute to these alarming statistics?

We must bring this issue to the attention of law enforcement authorities immediately so that the remaining dogs under McArthur's care can be removed and placed in safe environments. The abuse must not continue. Let's break the silence. Let's be their voice. For every animal who has suffered under Mr. McArthur's care, we demand that justice is served and the the appropriate FEDERAL charges be filed against him. 

We urge the residents of Alpine, AL, and animal lovers everywhere to take a stand. Let's ensure that our call is loud and clear – enough is enough! Please, sign this petition and let's fight for justice for the nameless and voiceless victims of Sentinel Canine.
