Enduring incessant noise pollution from a nearby wedding venue has become an unbearable daily struggle for me and my family. Not only has this situation rendered our home an uncomfortable place, but it has also significantly impacted our overall well-being. We cannot relax, open our windows, or use the garden without being overwhelmed by the constant disturbances. Our pets live in terror, and sleepless nights have become the norm as we try to cope with this ordeal.

The wedding venue in question hosts two weddings per day, contributing to noise levels so extreme that our house literally shakes with the roar of revving sports car engines. It's impossible to ignore the football pitch-sized floodlights that remain on until past 1 a.m., illuminating our surroundings and making sleep an elusive dream. The noise of yelling, arguments, and cheers from guests as they leave, often between 10 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., only exacerbates the situation. This relentless noise intrusion is pushing residents like myself to the brink.

The persistent disruption has taken a toll on my mental health, necessitating treatment for anxiety due to the constant stress and inability to enjoy my own home. We deserve the right to a peaceful environment where we can relax and live without the relentless noise violence.

18/08/2025 police had to attend as huge fireworks were set off at 11.30pm which smashed into cars, homes and gardens. Set alight to people's property, luckily these were easily extinguished but the trauma is not so easily forgotten. 

We urge local authorities and the wedding venue management to take immediate action to mitigate this problem. Suggestions include implementing noise reduction measures, rescheduling events to limit times of high disturbance, and ensuring that floodlights are turned off at a sensible hour.
