Petition submitted to national authorities — thank you to all 1,515 supporters

Our petition, supported by 1,515 verified signatories, has now been emailed to the President, Prime Minister, Minister of Health, senior Health Ministry officials and the Ministry of Public Administration.

We have requested:

• an examination of the reported incident at Kalmunai Base Hospital;

• protection and clear guidance for affected employees; and

• a nationally consistent policy allowing non-face-covering hijab with official uniforms, subject to identification, infection-control and safety requirements.

We will follow up with the relevant offices and share any acknowledgments or official responses.
