End Toxic JEE-NEET Coaching Practices in India

The Issue

It's time we speak up about the overwork and intense pressure faced by Indian students preparing for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) and National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).

The government have failed to promote career diversity and just converted India into a factory of unemployed engineers and doctors.

they have failed to allot sufficient budget to primary education which left make children unemployed.

schools are substandard because the children have made these 'coaching institutes' their first priority and schools second.

The National Crime Records Bureau's 2019 report states that 10,335 students committed suicide in 2018, with 'failure in examination' being one of the primary reasons.

We call upon the Ministry of Education and Central Board of Secondary Education to reform the coaching practices for these indispensable exams, introduce guidelines for mental health management, and nurture an environment where students can thrive, and not simply survive.

not only 'government efforts' are sufficient we have to change the system from its core for seeking a brighter India and possibly saving our kids and future of India from this fire.

what we have to do:

  • PM Grievance Portal
  • write to concerned ministers for the actual change to happen
  • write your opinions on #saveindianstudent

Stand with Indian students. Let's end the toxic JEE-NEET coaching culture! Sign this petition.
