Final Push on Stop Wall St Journal Thanksgiving Insult Petition

Please help to make 2021 Indigenous Peoples' Day (October 11) a turning point as we approach the 400th anniversary of the original Pilgrim celebration of Thanksgiving. Thanks to you and more than 30,000 other signers our “End Thanksgiving Insult to Native Americans” Change.org petition is making progress toward becoming one of the most highly supported petitions. More importantly the petition is gaining the kind of weight it needs to be taken seriously by the editorial board of The Wall Street Journal. Earlier this week I sent a letter, via FedEx, requesting a meeting or conference call to discuss how to address the “Desolate Wilderness” editorial. It is important for the editorial board to see continually growing numbers as they review our request.

On this 2021 Indigenous People’s Day, please take two minutes to forward this message to a few friends asking them to sign onto our petition. I will be doing my part sending out new releases on how far we have come in one month and explaining publicity leading up to this year’s Thanksgiving holiday. Meanwhile our effort will benefit from help by some more friends and signers. Our petition can be found at https://chng.it/8vhfFZjCmF, where it takes only a few moments to sign and help to correct a historical injustice. Please forward this message with a subject heading “I signed, please join me”.

Miigwech/Thank you
