With this petition we hope to make Nintendo speed up their reveal timeline for their next console, generally known as the "Switch 2".

The Switch was originally talked about under the codename "NX" in march 2015 and the release window of March 2017 was set a year later at an investor's meeting.
However Nintendo has decided that clarity around hardware releases is no longer needed, the earliest news about the Switch 2 was that the release was pushed back a year due to the weak position of the Japanese Yen. 

For almost a year now there hasn't been any news about the status of the consoles release, the most we know at this time is that the console will be announced before April next year and that it's going to be backwards compatible with original switch games.

People have been expecting any announcement for well over a year now and it's clear to see in the low output of Switch games that Nintendo is starting to run out of big releases for the current console.

The wait has to end, we need to see the next console.
