Too many innocent people are first charged of a crime,geld in remand during lengthy investigation's and trials and have the burden to prove their innocence before their was any factual evidence presented. Police are abusing there title, badges, duty and  position of power . This only leads to a culture of never trusting law enforcement and when this happens people become too afraid to report crimes,seek help if needed or vo operate if they are aware of something police are needing information about.My son sits in one of the most dangerous prisons charged with the most serious crime,has yet to even lay eyes on his legal aid solicitor, only got a brief 2 minute phone call ,has been denied mental health services or his regular medication,the cost to our family to travel 2 and a half hours each way to go visit to see him declining mental health ways each time can never be repaired. Please we need more signatures so this can be looked into by criminal justice system or government to make changes to our legal system and police policies on charging only after a full investigation and factual evidence is found not before hand
