This heartbreaking and preventable cruelty must stop. Egypt has one of the world’s highest stray dog populations, and without action, the crisis will deepen, threatening public health, safety, and the nation’s global reputation.

Without humane strategies in place, people take matters into their own hands - beating, poisoning, and torturing these animals. Dogs are seen as pests, out of control, and a danger. Public fear and frustration grow, leading to brutal and ineffective killings that solve nothing. However, when dogs are vaccinated, sterilized, and managed properly, public confidence will be restored.

Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Release (TNVR) is the only humane and scientifically proven solution. By sterilizing, vaccinating, and safely releasing dogs into monitored areas, we can stop uncontrolled breeding, prevent disease, and stabilize populations over time.

We are not asking for money, just approval. Approval to launch a nationwide TNVR program. Approval to stop the suffering of thousands of dogs and protect public health. Approval to position Egypt as a leader in humane and effective animal management.

Feeding stations will replace random street feeding, keeping dogs in designated areas where they have consistent food, water, and shelter. This will keep the streets cleaner, reducing roaming, aggression, and the spread of disease.
