Anxiety how do we get it and how to we cope? Brains hard wired in anxious stories repeated on and on in your lovely brain. Sleep Stopped in its tracks. Worry and nervous mumbling. Your brain ready to fight and flight switched on. Alert Alert. Why do I feel like this? Constant thinking about everything. Huge reactions and feeling guilty about buying too much or what people think of what your doing. Behaving like you want to fight everyone and getting upset a lot. Constant critism of yourself and perceived critics from others. What is true and what is not? you think everyone hates you or is against you. Questioning your opinions and annoyed about things you do. Your head in excitement mode or angry all the time emotions come in huge waves and you want to be free from this cage. Emotion and panic coming at inconveniencing people and hoping you don't cause upset. Trying to ask something but then sounding like your arguing. 'Just relax' Or calm down' are pointless phases and uncaring as anxiety is actually a mental problem. Anxiety is commonplace this days- does social media and acceptance of oneself come into the equation? Social media shows constant pictures of girls or boys looking slim, toned and having their so called 'fantastic life.' To keep up you have to post stufff and it makes you come on you know it more insecure. If people arn't constantly messaging you- you feel you arn't liked? Everyone on media channels wanting to outdo so and so and people who seems the most confident and been on a million holidays or are a top lawyer or work in a huge social media company. Are really facing advertsity themselves. Can we really say many people are happy? Try to be yourself and limit jealously. I am studying anxiety in psychology and people who have anxiety seem to be rude to other people who have it for fear of them disliking that they have anxiety in the first place. And look at the people who seem like they don't have problems and put themselves below them. The race is here- anxiety will not let you enjoy relationships will make you hate people - basically voices in your head destroy your piece of mind by destroying who you are. Taking you down piece by piece- judging you making you perfect and saying doing that makes you odd. You won't be liked if you react too much. Watch what you say on social media you may upset people. Constantly thinking about phone calls do I sound too quiet do they understand what I mean- god I am muttering weird stuff again. Anxiety will make your best friends or familly seem like evil bullies or horrid people. And your mind believes what you think which is strange as the outside environment reacts very differently. Your internal monologue is very important. Don't be your biggest bully! I constantly compare myself to my past self I couldn't be and judge myself.

In 1970, the charity’s founders, Katharine and Harold Fisher established The Phobics’ Society from their home in Chorlton, Manchester, as a direct result of Katharine’s personal experience of agoraphobia and with the sole aim of getting support in place for others living with anxiety..
Since then we’ve become a national organisation, however we still have the same basic aims. Whether you have anxiety, stress, anxiety-based depression or a phobia that’s affecting your daily life, we’re here to help and are here for you.
