Who is affected?

The people badly affected by the 30-year genocide are the local Congolese people in the Eastern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), where over 10 million people have been killed because of the raw materials coveted by Rwanda and several other countries.

Millions of people have lost their lives, homes and belongings for reasons they did not create. It breaks my heart. The people of the Congo say:

·       No to imperialism

·       No to domination

·       No to discrimination

·       No land grabbing

The oppressed workers and people of the Congo say enough is enough. The Congolese population seeks peace, equality, justice and an end to the continuous exploitation of their resources.

What is at stake?

Every day, people in Eastern Congo fear for their lives as Rwanda is funding the M23 group and other small rebel groups, who continue to kill daily and exploit the resources of the DRC.

Why is now the time to act?

Now is the time to act. We are calling on the Arsenal FC board to end the partnership with the Rwandan government (Visit Rwanda). Enough is enough. Millions of lives have been lost. It is time for Arsenal to act.
