A blind paraplegic senior with terminal cancer was left without care twice this week. Hee care aide simply did not show up as scheduled.  The senior's family was not notified. 

Sidney Seniors Care had been contracted by the Vancouver Island Health Authority to provide care. Publicly funded care contracted out to an unregulated private for profit company.  Is it any wonder the ball got dropped?!

Minister Adrian Dix when will you do something?  How many other patients need to fall between the many cracks in the health care system before you will act???
