I know that we Canadians have a reputation for being too nice and not wanting to offend anyone. That's all fine for social situations but unfortunately it also seems to translate into apathy regarding many issues.  That is until any particular issue directly affects us.

Fewer than 4% of those who have viewed this petition have made the effort to sign it.  I am responsible for 40 of the 50 times this had been shared.  So fewer than 0.3% of viewers made the effort to share this petition. 

is it any wonder why change is so slow to happen in Canada?  There is not enough qualified and reliable in-home careto go around for current needs.
