Continued thanks to everyone who has signed and supported NDAFreeCampus' petition to end the misuse of NDAs in US higher education. Please continue to share with your networks.
We are thrilled to share that the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) has recently moved to endorse our mission and encourage members to recommend the "university pledge" to their institutions. See the full statement below:
---
The American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) endorses the mission of NDAFreeCampus to “end the misuse of non-disclosure agreements in US-based colleges and universities and to raise public awareness around the damage to individuals and institutional integrity when NDAs are used to silence survivors of sexual abuse, sexual harassment, workplace harassment, and other forms of bullying.”
ASEE further encourages all of our member institutions to consider asking their universities to adopt the statement, “(W)e [our president and board of trustees] commit to not using Non-Disclosure Agreements to silence people who come forward to raise complaints of sexual harassment, abuse or misconduct, discrimination, or other forms of harassment and bullying.”

Special thanks go to NDAFreeCampus co-founder Robert Leland, PhD., to all of you, and to our inspirations at Can't Buy My Silence, Lift our Voices, and Rep. Liz Berry (WA).
