End the IRS Tax System for Federal Taxes Now

End the IRS Tax System for Federal Taxes Now
The Issue
Through my personal experience and observation of the current economy in America, I believe it's high time to reconsider our financial system, specifically, to abolish the IRS tax system for federal taxes. It is a plea rooted in the stark reality that our government is using fiat money to cater to its requirements, leaving everyday Americans to bear the burden of heavy taxation.
We are expected to surrender over 45% of our income in taxes while our economy suffers and homelessness continues to rise (National Law Center on Homelessness & Poverty). This scenario harks back to the days of "taxation without representation," a method that is not just fundamentally unjust but also unconstitutional. It seems like our hard-earned money is not going back into the nation's system but is rather being utilised for programs that apparently, do not consider the American populace’s plight.
Unlike our struggling fellow citizens, newcomers to our country are reportedly blessed with numerous benefits, including an enormous amount of money, free accommodation and food, guaranteed approval of car loans or leases (Center for Immigration Studies). While we do not begrudge assistance to those who need it, it highlights the unequal distribution of resources.
Therefore, this petition calls for an earnest revision of our tax system. While reform is complex, it's necessary to ensure fairness. We demand the government stop exploiting our hard-earned income, but rather, reconstruct the system in a way that benefits its true custodians - its citizens.
This isn't just a matter of dollars and cents, but a matter of principle. Society's most affluent members are best poised to shoulder the tax burden, but tax policies favor them while the rest must disproportionately pay (Groundwork Collaborative).
This call is not for a tax-free state but a reasonable tax system where the percentages asked are manageable, representation is assured, and resources are distributed fairly.
Join me to initiate this change by signing this petition. Your support will help bring an important issue into the limelight and create the pressure necessary for policy revision.
