We’ve been thinking carefully about the best way to protect and care for the animals. Instead of one large facility, we believe multiple smaller sanctuaries will be the most effective approach. Easier to Keep Cool – Smaller buildings mean air conditioning is more manageable and cost-effective, especially in Florida’s heat. Solar Power Ready – Smaller rooftops give us more opportunities to use solar panels and lower energy costs. Less Stress for Animals – Cats, dogs, and other animals will each have their own space, creating calmer and safer environments. Better Health & Safety – If an illness spreads, it can be contained in one area instead of affecting every animal. This plan makes our vision sustainable, affordable, and truly animal-centered.
