Friends, the collage above shows shots that were taken north of the official dog zone in just the last few weeks…and one of the dogs is not on a leash etc….and these aren’t even all of the photos we have!  Dog owners just don’t care about doing the right thing and the zone ‘boundaries’ are a joke.  The County continues to not do its job enforcing the dog zone rules and they could care a less about the areas outside of the zone.  It’s become so obvious that we need to ramp things up and try to convince our elected officials, especially those in Ormond, to step up and end this pilot program now.  Please help by spreading the word on social media, asking others to sign the petition, and contact your elected officials directly.  We can do this and please keep those pictures coming…they be sent to notfollowingbeachrules@gmail.com or if text is easier, just write us there and I’ll send along a cell number to use.  We also plan to attend one of the upcoming City Commission meetings in Ormond, so let us know if you’re able to join in.  Let’s stop this madness and get the County to do the right thing.  Please send us any and all ideas for making real change here!  Thank you!
