Council suspends vaccine policy

On Tuesday evening, North Bay City Council suspended their vaccine policy.

While this is a victory for us, we will need to remain vigilant. Council still doesn't recognize that their original mandate was wrong, only that 'times have changed'.

Additionally, the local social services board has extended their vaccine mandate for another year - an almost unbelievable thing to do given the evidence we have seen over the past year.

Finally, eleven City employees who lost their jobs for not taking the jab have not been offered their jobs back. 

It is clear we are not out of the woods yet.
