As citizens personally affected by the dictatorial regime in Bangladesh, we witness horrific atrocities and deep injustices within our educational system and government. Our peaceful rallies - filled with students, children, laborers, and concerned citizens - are met with brutal violence and genocidal operations. Hundreds of innocent students and labourers have fallen victim to these actions, their only crime being the exercise of freedom of speech. 

Our government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, has built a system that denies us fair access to resources and opportunities. They favor those related to Bangladesh's freedom fighters through a biased quota system, which reserves a staggering 30% of government job opportunities for them. This system manipulates our education and governmental arenas, leaving less than 50% of opportunities to be merit-based. Further, these merit-based selections are ridden with corruption. 

In July 2024, our protests against this unjust regime resulted in unfathomable violence. We demand an end to this injustice and the stepping down of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The people of Bangladesh deserve a future that fosters an equitable distribution of wealth and opportunities, a future that is free from the sting of corruption.

The time has come for the international community to stand with us. It is time to demand justice for the victims and end the impunity of Bangladesh's dictatorial regime. We call for an end to the unfair quota system and the creation of a just, democratic society where every voice is heard and valued, and where merit is the only pathway to progress.
